The services offered by StudioVIMAR include training of personnel in welding and quality control, inspection and review of job orders, activities such as coordination of welding and components design.
Welders and welding procedures qualifications / Theoretical-practical training courses for welders
From an educational point of view, the training courses for welders are based on providing a basic knowledge both from a metallurgical and technological point of view of the main welding processes, underlining the part relating to the procedures that are normally used.
- Teaching by qualified personnel with European Welding Engineer / Technologist certification increases the quality level of the service offered.
- Perform the practice as main role, in a global view from the choice of materials to safety at work.
- Inform the students about the applicable rules giving indications on their interpretation.
The course gives to the applicant the basic know how in order to choose the type of process and the relevant base material of interest.
At the end of the courses it is possible to take the exam to obtain the qualification according to the main international codes.
Third-party inspections on products and manufacturing processes / review of construction and installation of plants
- INSPECTIONS and EXPEDITING – StudioVIMAR can check the suppliers starting from the material requisition up to the final product to assure the quality of the supply. The service is carried out by personnel who have been involved in this activity on behalf of the main Classification Institutes.
- Furthermore, StudioVIMAR can also deal with the intermediation and coordination of relationships between the Classification Institutes themselves and the Company.
- Inspection of welds: evaluation of the type, quantity and percentage of the checks to be done, supporting the client in choosing the NDT companies available.
Quality control inside the Company
- StudioVIMAR training the company's staff in charge of quality control management, to assure the Customer on the compliance of the product with the contract and project requirements. StudioVIMAR gives also assistance and consultancy in the engineering/ procurement/production phases.
Welding coordination inside the company
- The role of the welding coordinator becomes basilar for those companies that have welding as their main working process; in this case the analysis and planning of the
welding procedures, with the development of the relevant documentation, becomes
one of the main aspects of production.
Therefore StudioVIMAR provides to the Clients qualified personnel (European Welding Engineer / Inspector / Technologist) to carry out this task in the best way.
Equipment design and marine cranes
- Equipments or accessories available, could have different requirements from those needed, therefore it is necessary to proceed with a dedicated design.
StudioVIMAR provides to the clients the own design experience gained, also, in the fabrication of various hydraulic marine cranes, together with production of related drawings in 2 and 3D. - RESEARCH and DEVELOPMENT – StudioVIMAR with its experience can support the client to elaborate on the research and development fields.
